As if Downtown Winter Garden wasn’t amazing already, The Hangry Bison and a new Italian restaurant, Magoni, are here to make it even better! 

The Hangry Bison is a cute rustic looking restaurant on Plant Street right next to Foxtail coffee. 

This burger joint is perfect for all ages, so definitely bring the entire family. 

We went for an early lunch and got there a couple minutes after opening so we were able to pick a nice table near the outside so we could enjoy some nice people watching but still covered so that the sun didn’t burn us!

The menu is full of options but not too overwhelming! We first opted in for their Calamari appetizer which was made up of fresh calamari that were flash fried and tossed with banana peppers, on the side was a bowl of marinara for dipping! For $13 it was a good starter before our meals and I would definitely get it again!

Next we had to dive into what our main meal would be. The menu consists of salads, pre-made burgers, or the option to build your own which they call Bison Builds! The pre-made burgers were also customizable so you could use them as a starting point! 

Our table enjoyed a variety of different burgers from the Dodzilla which is made up of a short rib burger, cheddar cheese, ham, fried egg, bourbon onions, bacon jam, tomato, lettuce and a pretzel bun to Bison builds with the regular Bison Burger patty, the Salmon Burger, or a Turkey burger! Each burger also comes with your choice of a side. We enjoyed delicious sweet potato fries that came with a honey butter to dip into and good ol’ fashion french fries with ketchup!

Our stomachs were quickly full and we were all impressed with the quick service, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere!

Around the corner next door is Magoni! A new Italian restaurant, opening next week! What we currently know is it will be a sort of build your own pizza type of restaurant but will also be featuring brunch options! These will be something along the line of breakfast pizzas with toppings like eggs, bacon, sausage, avocado, etc.! There will also be a full bar so bring your friends for a Sunday Mimosa!
